WELCOME TO Millennium Forum
Millennium’s Forum is a social learning platform for teacher well-being & SEL development which translates research in developmental science into practical tools and content that teachers integrate amongst themselves and in their classrooms. Forum leverages peer-to-peer circles with a goal to strengthen teachers’ social and emotional learning (SEL) capacities and cultivate greater well-being in three ways:
Self-Care, and Commitment to a Personal Mindful Development Practice
Peer-to-Peer Connection, Intimacy, Trust, Coaching and Mentorship
Professional Development on Mindful Social-Emotional Learning and the Science of Human Development
The Forum method tackles current gaps in the SEL movement by helping educators confidently develop the capacities they seek for themselves and to model in the classroom. Within the confidentiality of their Forum teachers can safely access peer-to-peer support and coaching, learning from others equally committed to whole-child development. In contrast to one-time workshops, teachers take turn surfacing real-world challenges each month, applying science-backed techniques within a structured process for sustainable, embedded professional development. The ultimate goal of Forum is to facilitate a compassionate global community of educators, empowering them to cultivate their most inspired inner teaching qualities, reducing burnout and increasing overall Well-being.
